As we are a new team to Robosub, with Robosub being many of our team members first robotics and engineering experience, we understand and deeply value the impact of community. We have been mentored by Team Inspiration, who have shown us many things and introduced us to a variety of concepts. We have also been given brief advice from many professionals in the field of underwater robotics. This has helped us build a sense of community and inclusion which we strive to show others. This has shown us the true engineering way of collaboration. Passing on the idea of mentorship, we also mentor others. We have established a connection with Magnolia Science Academy and their engineering program. Following our mentorship, in late June we have been invited to display our robot at a local pool and show what we've learned in order to inspire young minds and create a prospering community of youth passionate in engineering.
